TERMS OF SERVICE
DigiRenovation – Apartment Redesign Service

1. SERVICE OVERVIEW
1.1 Service Description
ReDesign (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides professional apartment layout redesign and visualization services (“Services”) to clients (“you,” “your”) through our website and digital platforms.
1.2 Service Package Includes:
- Two (2) innovative layout concepts based on your existing apartment floor plan
- Detailed, measured floor plans of your selected concept with furniture placement
- Kitchen and bathroom elevation drawings
- Material specifications with area calculations and volumes
- Demolition plan showing structural changes required
1.3 Standard Delivery Timeline:
Services are delivered within 3-5 business days from receipt of all required information and materials. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.
2. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
2.1 Required Information
You must provide:
- Current apartment floor plans (PDF, CAD, or clear photographs/scans)
- Property measurements (or we will work from provided plans)
- Clear description of your renovation goals and requirements
- Any structural limitations or building regulations you’re aware of
- Contact information for communication
2.2 Information Accuracy
You are responsible for the accuracy of all information provided. We design based on the plans and information you supply.
If provided measurements or structural details are incorrect, additional fees may apply for revisions.
2.3 Response Time
You must respond to our questions or design options within 14 business days. Failure to respond may result in project delay or cancellation without refund.
2.4 Building Regulations
You are responsible for ensuring that any final design complies with local building codes, regulations, and condominium/apartment building rules. Our designs are conceptual and must be reviewed by licensed local professionals before construction.
3. PRICING & PAYMENT
3.1 Service Fee
The apartment redesign service is priced starting at €249 (including applicable VAT).
3.2 Payment Terms
- Full payment is required before work commences
- Payment is processed securely through Paddle (our payment processor)
- All prices are in Euros (EUR)
- We accept credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods supported by Paddle
3.3 VAT
VAT is included in the price. Procentage based on your location.
3.4 Currency
All transactions are processed in Euros. Your bank may apply currency conversion fees if your account is in a different currency.
4. REVISIONS & MODIFICATIONS
4.1 Included Revision
One (1) round of revisions is included in the service fee. This includes:
- Modifications to your selected layout concept
- Adjustments to room arrangements within the chosen design direction
- Refinement of furniture placement, lighting, or material selections
4.2 Revision Scope
A revision round means reasonable modifications to the selected concept. It does not include:
- Completely new layout concepts (beyond the initial two provided)
- Redesign based on newly provided information not included in original brief
- Changes due to inaccurate measurements or information you provided
- Changes to project scope or requirements after design commencement
4.3 Additional Revisions
Additional revision rounds beyond the included one are available at €200 per round. These must be requested and paid for before work begins.
4.4 Revision Timeline
Revision requests must be submitted within 14 days of receiving your initial design delivery. After 14 days, additional fees may apply.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
5.1 Ownership of Deliverables
Upon full payment, you receive a non-exclusive license to use the design deliverables for your apartment renovation project.
5.2 Our Rights
We retain intellectual property rights to:
- Our design methodology and processes
- Original creative concepts and design solutions
- The right to use anonymized versions of your project for portfolio and marketing purposes (with your explicit consent only – see Privacy Policy)
5.3 Restrictions on Use
You may not:
- Resell or redistribute our designs to third parties
- Claim authorship of the design work
- Use the designs for commercial purposes beyond your personal renovation
- Modify our branding or attribution on delivered materials
5.4 Portfolio Use
We may request permission to feature your project (anonymized, without address or identifying details) in our portfolio. This requires your explicit written consent and you may decline without any impact on service delivery.
6. DELIVERY & FILE FORMATS
6.1 Digital Delivery
All deliverables are provided digitally via:
- Secure download link sent to your email or your private space on our secure project portal
- PDF / JPG format for plans and documentation
6.2 File Retention
We retain your project files for 90 days after delivery. After this period, files may be deleted. If you need files re-sent after 90 days,
a €50 administrative fee applies.
6.3 Physical Delivery
We do not provide physical prints or materials. You are responsible for printing any documents needed for contractors or permits.
7. LIMITATIONS & DISCLAIMASES
7.1 Design Service Only
Our service provides conceptual design and visualization. We do not provide:
- Structural engineering calculations or approval
- HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) system design
- Electrical engineering certification
- Plumbing engineering plans
- Building permit applications or architectural stamps
- Construction management or supervision
- Contractor selection or management
7.2 Local Professional Review Required
All designs must be reviewed and approved by licensed local professionals (architects, engineers, contractors) who understand your local building codes and regulations before construction begins.
7.3 No Construction Guarantee
We do not guarantee that:
- Local authorities will approve the design
- The design complies with all local building codes (these vary by jurisdiction)
- Contractors can execute the design within your budget
- The final built result will exactly match renderings (finishes, lighting, materials vary)
7.4 Measurement Disclaimer
If you provide floor plans without verified measurements, we work from the information given. Any errors in source materials may affect design accuracy. We recommend professional measurement verification before construction.
7.5 Cost Estimates
Material cost estimates are approximate ranges based on typical market prices. Actual costs vary by:
- Your specific location and suppliers
- Material availability and quality selections
- Labor costs in your market
- Project timing and market conditions
These estimates are guidance only and not quotations or guarantees.
8. LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION
8.1 Limitation of Liability
Our total liability to you for any claims related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the service (from €249).
We are not liable for:
- Construction defects or errors by contractors
- Cost overruns during renovation
- Delays in your renovation project
- Non-compliance with local building codes (client/contractor responsibility)
- Property damage during construction
- Disputes with contractors, suppliers, or building management
- Third-party claims related to your use of the designs
8.2 Consequential Damages
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including:
- Lost profits or business opportunities
- Property devaluation
- Temporary housing costs during renovation
- Emotional distress
8.3 Client Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of our designs
- Inaccurate information you provided
- Your failure to obtain necessary permits or professional approvals
- Construction work based on our designs
- Third-party claims related to your project
9. REFUND POLICY
9.1 Before Design Work Begins
Full refund available if you cancel before we begin design work (within 24 hours of payment, before submitting your project brief).
9.2 After Design Work Begins
Once design work has commenced (after you’ve submitted your project brief and we’ve acknowledged it), payments are non-refundable.
9.3 Service Quality Issues
If you’re unsatisfied with the delivered design quality, we will:
- First, work with you through your included revision round to address concerns
- If issues remain after revision, review your specific concerns
- Offer additional revision round at no charge if we determine quality standards weren’t met
We do not offer refunds for subjective design preferences or changes in your project plans.
9.4 Non-Delivery
If we fail to deliver your project within 10 business days (excluding delays caused by your non-response), you may request a full refund.
10. CANCELLATION & DELAYS
10.1 Cancellation by Client
You may cancel at any point, but refunds are only available as specified in Section 9 (Refund Policy).
10.2 Cancellation by DigiRenovation
We reserve the right to cancel and refund your project if:
- You provide incomplete or inaccurate information after multiple requests
- Your project falls outside our service scope
- You fail to respond to communications for 14+ days
- We determine we cannot deliver quality work based on provided materials
10.3 Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or non-performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, pandemic, internet outages, or service provider failures.
11. COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT
11.1 Communication Channels
All project communication occurs via:
- Email (primary)
- Project Portal
- No phone calls or video meetings are included in this service
11.2 Response Times
We aim to respond to your inquiries within 1 business days. Design delivery follows the 3-5 business day timeline from receipt of all required information.
11.3 Language
Services are provided in English. If language barriers exist, you are responsible for translation or clarification.
12. PRIVACY & DATA
12.1 Privacy Policy
Your personal data and project information are handled according to our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you agree to our data processing practices.
12.2 Confidentiality
We treat your project information confidentially and do not share it publicly without your explicit consent (except as required by law).
12.3 International Processing
Your data may be processed by our service partners located outside the European Union (including design production teams and visualization partners). We ensure appropriate data protection safeguards as detailed in our Privacy Policy.
13. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS
13.1 Updates
We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated “Last Updated” date.
13.2 Notification
For material changes, we will notify active clients via email at least 14 days before changes take effect.
13.3 Acceptance
Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of updated terms. If you don’t agree to changes, discontinue use of our services.
14. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14.2 Negotiation First
Before pursuing formal dispute resolution, you agree to contact us to attempt good-faith negotiation for at least 30 days.
14.3 Jurisdiction
Any disputes that cannot be resolved through negotiation will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Helsinki, Finland.
14.4 EU Consumer Rights
If you are an EU consumer, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights under your local law that cannot be waived by contract.
15. GENERAL PROVISIONS
15.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any project-specific agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and
DigiRenovation.
15.2 Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
15.3 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
15.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations to a successor entity.
15.5 Relationship
These Terms create a client-service provider relationship. Nothing creates a partnership, employment, agency, or joint venture.
